S: Right. You're requested to pay a visit to the police office.
E: Again?
S: From the tone of the officer's voice, they had caught the culprit.
E: Impossible! How could that be when I couldn't even remember his face.
F: Surely the police got some fingerprints from the handle of your bag and whoa, there's a match!
N: Possible. Or maybe, there was a witness after all.
So: Better yet, the police really did their homework, found some fresh evidences that eventually led to the arrest of the snatcher.
E: Wow! Haven't I told you guys to stop watching those predictable detective drama on TV? You're all getting carried away with it.
F: But seriously, Euneece, if the culprit is indeed under the police custody now, what would you do or say when you saw him?
E: Honestly, I don't know. I don't wanna have anything to do with him anymore. I struggled to forget the incident, you know.
S: Don't you want him to suffer for what he caused you?
E: You mean to pay for the post traumatic stress syndrome I went through after that?
S: That too. Uh-huh.
E: I leave the law to decide for that. I just wish he would realize the impact his action left to his victims especially to a foreigner like me.
So: I'll second that. Shame on him.
S: So when do you wanna go?
E: Tomorrow? The sooner we get over it, the better.

S: 警察官の声の調子からすると、犯人を捕まえたのじゃないかな。
E: そんなの無理でしょ！ 私が犯人の顔を覚えていないのにどうしてそんなことが出来るの？
F: きっと、警察は君のバッグのとってからいくつかの指紋を採って、それが合致したんだよ。
N: 多分ね。あるいは目撃者が結局居たのかも！
So: もっといいシナリオは、警察がしっかり仕事をして、ひったくり犯の逮捕に結局結びつけるような新たな証拠を見つけたんだね。
E: まあ！ 筋書きのわかる刑事ドラマなんか見るのを止めたらって言わなかったかしら。もうみんな夢中なんだから。
F: でも、冗談抜きにユニース、もし犯人が本当に今、警察に拘留されていたら、犯人と会った時にどうする、なにを言う彼に言うの？
E: 正直、判らないわ。私は、犯人とこれ以上、関わりを持ちたくないの。その出来事を忘れようとしてるの、わかる？
S: 犯人が君にしたことに対して報いを与えようと思わないの？
E: その事件後に経験した心的外傷性ストレス症候群の報いを受けるということ？
S: うん、それもね。
E: その決定は法律に任せます。私は彼の行為が犠牲者、特に私のよう外国人に対して残した影響を彼が理解してほしいだけ。
