E: Why do you need to search about tomatoes?
T: Well, I bought a seedling when I attended the Daikanyama Green Week and I transplanted it in a bigger pot.
E: I did not know you have a green thumb.
T: I don't think I have that but I'm just trying my best to nurture it.
E: Hmmm, but why do you have to bother growing that vegetable crop? We have an ample supply of tomatoes in the market.
T: It's not just a usual tomato on the vegetable corner.
E: Hmmm, that's intriguing… (trying to guess) could it be a Marsian tomato… or… perhaps an evergreen tomato?

T: Definitely not Marsian but an evergreen tomato exists.

E: So, are you growing that cultivar?
T: Nope. I have the award winning tomatoberry of Tokita Seed Co., Ltd.! It garnered the 3rd place in the prestigious Fruit Logistica Innovation Award in 2008.
E: I know that innovative and undeniably reputable seed company…but tomatoberry (shaking her head)… I can't imagine how it looks like. (Jokingly ask) Is it a fusion of tomato plus blackberry?
T: As I have seen its fruit during the Green Week, the tomatoberry is a cute heart-shaped mini tomato with shiny deep red color…and according to Fruit Logistica it has an impressive taste - higher sugar, amino acid and lycopene content. Plus, its innovative breeder claimed it has resistance to Tobacco Mosaic Virus 2
(TMV2).
E: Wow! That cultivar deserves to be in the elite circle of tomatoes with flying colors! I'm just wondering if it is a good alternative for chocolates and flowers on Valentine's Day…What do you think?
