After reading the dialogue, they begin to discuss hair salon,
haircut and and hairstyles.
E: Did you have a similar experience with the lady in the
dialogue?
Kozue raises her hand quickly.
K: A few years ago, I tried out a new hair salon near my house.
The salon gave out discount coupons. I needed to tighten
my belt at that time, so I thought the salon was a blessing.
E: I can smell a disaster here.
K: I hated how it turned out. (shaking her head as if to try
to erase it in her memory).
S: Worst nightmare in your life! What did you do after that?
K: I went to my favorite hairdresser and begged him to do some
magic.
E: At least, our hair grows. Bad hairstyles are just ephemeral.
I know Saho often changes her hairstyle.
S: I don't know but I'm just enamored with the idea of
experimenting with my hair.
K: She changes her hairstyle as if to change her clothes.
S: That's an exaggeration. I've tried highlights, hair coloring,
perm and different hairstyles popularized by some actresses.
You name it.
Kozue suddenly interrupts.
K: I found something on the Internet. You can check which
hairstyle will suit you by just pasting your photo. I forgot
how it is called though.
S: Ah, I think I came across that one too. (slightly hitting the
table with her fingers as if she had been thinking). Hmmm. I
couldn't remember the name.
Emery's eyes suddenly widened. Saho and Kozue looked puzzled.
E: Well, I have been mulling over my hairstyle since last month
but I haven't decided upon it yet. Perm? Short hair for a
change? Hair color?
K: Chill out, Emery. If I were you, I would have my hair trimmed.
S: Don’t heed to Kozue's advice, remember what happened to her?
Emery, you have to try a new hairstyle. You always encourage
us to try especially to give our opinions or answers, right?
K: Don't listen to her Emery. Look before you leap.
S: It's spring, new season, new hairstyle. Be bold!
Emery mimics the sound of a whistle to end the discussion.
E: I appreciate both of your opinions. Thank you very much.
I'll try to decide over the weekend and you'll see next week.

そして新しいヘアスタイルについて話し始めました。
E: このダイアログに登場する女性と同じような経験をしたことがあり
ますか？
コズエが素早く手を上げる。
K: 数年前、家の近くの新しいヘアサロンに行きました。そのサロン
では割引クーポンを配ってたの。そのときは出費を抑えなくては
ならなかったので、そのサロンは有難いと思ったわ。
E: それ嫌な予感がするわね。
K: 仕上がりが最悪だったわ。(記憶から消すかのように彼女は頭を
振っています)
S: あなたの人生で一番の悪夢ね。それからどうしたの？
K: 私のお気に入りのヘアドレッサーのところに行って、魔法をかけて
もらうよう頼みこんだわ。
E: でも少なくとも髪は延びるからね。きまらないヘアスタイルは
ただ一時的なものよ。サホはよくヘアスタイルを変えるわよね。
S: わからないけど、自分の髪でいろいろ試してみるのが好きなの。
K: 彼女は服を着替えるようにヘアスタイルも変えるのよね。
S: それは大げさだわ。ハイライトに、ヘアカラー、パーマやいろんな
ヘアスタイルをやったけど、それらは女優さんたちによって普及
されたのよね。とにかく何でもね。
コズエが急に割り込む。
K: ネットであるものを見つけたわ。自分の写真を載せるだけで、自分に
どんなヘアスタイルが似合うかチェックできるのよ。何ていうものか
忘れたけど。
S: ああ、私もそれをたまたま見つけたように思うわ。(考えているかの
ように指で少し机を叩いている）んんっと。名前が思い出せない。
エメリーが目を急に見開く。サホとコズエは不思議に思っている。
E: 実は、先月から髪型についてじっくり考えていたんだけれど、まだ
決めかねているのよね。パーマかしら？気分を変えてショート？
カラーを入れようかしら？
K: 落ち着きなさいよ、エメリー。 もし私があなただったら、少し
そろえてもらうだけにするわ。
S: コズエのアドバイスを気にしなくていいのよ。彼女に何が起こったか
覚えているでしょ？ エメリー、新しいヘアスタイルにしてみたほうが
いいわよ。私たちにいつも自分の意見や答えを出すように言うでしょ？
K: 彼女の言うことを聞いちゃだめよ、エメリー。気を付けてね。
S: 春だし、新しい季節だし、新しい髪型よ。大胆になるのよ！
エメリーがディスカッションを終えるため笛の音のまねをする。
E: ２人の意見には感謝よ。ありがとう。週末に決めることにして、来週
お披露目ね。それでどう？
