During a free chat....
H: So how was your trip?
M: It was really fun. I'm glad they allowed us to roam around
and shop even for just two hours. I heard that people have to
bargain whenever they go shopping in China so I was really
excited. (smiling widely)
H: Sounds great! Tell me more about it. (looking too excited)
M: I asked for the price first. You can say,"Duo xiao qian?"
H: Wow! (impressed) You sound like a pro!
M: I know! But of course, I still need more practice.
H: I guess you saved a lot of bucks this time around.
M: Unfortunately, I spent more than usual. (scratching her head)
H: Why? (puzzled)
M: I bought a lot because the deals were too good to pass up!
The items I bought were easy on the wallet!
H: Uh-oh! Forget about being frugal! (grinning)

H：それで旅行はどうだったの？
M：とても楽しかったわ。2時間だけだったけれど歩きまわって
買い物をすることができてよかった。中国で買い物をする
ときはいつでも値段を交渉しなきゃいけないってって聞いて
たからとても興奮したわ。(大きな笑顔で)
H：いいわね！もっと話して。（とてもワクワクしている様子で）
M：最初に値段を訊いたの。「ドゥオ シャオ チェン？」

H：すごい！（感心して）プロみたい！
M：そうね。でももちろんもっと練習が必要だけど。
H：今回、だいぶお金を節約できたでしょう。
M：あいにく、いつもよりたくさん使ってしまったの。
(頭をかきながら)
H：どうして？（困惑して）
M：逃すのは惜しい掘り出し物だらけだったからたくさん買って
しまったの！安かったのよ！
H：あらまあ。節約することについては忘れて！（ニヤっと笑い）
